Mileage is captured automatically in the background; receipts are photographed or attached; everything lands in one set of records you can search, filter and export.

Tallypath uses your phone's motion sensors to decide when to wake up, rather than holding GPS open all day. In normal use it costs a few percent — comparable to a music app running in the background.

Add it manually — it counts exactly the same as a detected trip. Automatic detection is best effort and depends on your phone's location and motion services being available, so Tallypath never promises it unconditionally, and tells you plainly when something is limiting it.

Tallypath records the drives you let it record. Routes stay on their trip screen, never appear in notifications, and are left out of exports unless you deliberately include them. You can delete any route while keeping the trip's distance.

A clean, structured record built from a receipt you captured — merchant, date, subtotal, tax, total and category, each in its own field. The original photograph is kept alongside it rather than replaced by it, and you can correct any field before it is saved.

It is an aid, not an oracle. Tallypath shows you what it read and lets you correct anything before it is saved, and the original image stays attached so you can always check it against the paper. We will not put a percentage on it.

Match lines your receipts up against financial transactions you have imported, so you can see which charges have a receipt attached and which do not. Every suggested pairing is confirmed or rejected by you. It is a premium capability on Pro and Pro+, and it is still in development.

No. Tallypath AI is an optional add-on for Pro and Pro+ subscribers. Every plan is fully usable without it — it adds plain-language questions about your own records and assistance while reviewing captured receipts.

Standard is $6.99 a month, Pro is $11.99 and Pro+ is $17.99. An annual subscription saves 33% on any of them. The Tallypath AI add-on is $4.99 a month on top of Pro or Pro+, and is not available on Standard. Prices are in USD; Canadian pricing appears at checkout.

No. Tallypath is not yet published on the App Store or Google Play, so nothing is charged today. The plans describe what will be offered at launch.

In your Apple or Google account settings, the same place you manage every other subscription on your phone. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves the period you have already paid for intact.

Nothing is deleted and nothing is lost. Captures above your plan allowance wait until the allowance resets, or you can move to a plan with more room. Manual expense entry is never limited.

No, and deliberately so. Tallypath organises your records and does the arithmetic; what those records mean for your tax return is a question for your accountant. We will not pretend otherwise.

Any time, on every plan, as ordinary files you own. There is no export fee and no lock-in — if you leave, you leave with everything.
